Egerton House Hotel offers a classic London experience, with recurring praise for its beautiful decor, including Christmas decorations and well-appointed rooms featuring comfortable beds. The location proves convenient, with Hyde Park and South Kensington tube stops within a short walking distance, as well as easy access to restaurants. Guests particularly enjoy the breakfast, especially the homemade pancakes, and the cream tea in the drawing room; however, some have noted issues with post-stay customer service. many find it a gem with excellent food and attention to detail.

charming christmas stay

beautiful furniturecomfortable bedslow service
i enjoyed the christmas holiday at the hotel. it excels at providing modern necessities with classic style. the building has beautiful furniture and art. our room included a fruit and cheese plate upon arrival. it had a beautiful bathroom and a four-poster queen bed.
i experienced slow customer service regarding a refund owed since july. i have not received the money or a reply to emails. i think it is unacceptable for a hotel to ignore its customers.

adequate stay

good breakfastsmall roomoutrageous prices
the breakfast was quite good, i must admit.
The room was smaller than i expected, i mean, really small. It was like a closet. also, the promised 'high-speed' internet was about as fast as a snail. I could barely load my emails. and the minibar prices, oh my god, they were outrageous. A small bottle of water cost more than a pint of beer.

The staff, including Rosie, Benjamin, and Jacques, proved polite. They efficiently stored our luggage awaiting our arrival. Restaurant suggestions were great. Taxis were ordered promptly, and theater seats secured perfectly. A fruit plate awaited in the room. a selection of lobby confections and a farewell shortbread gift.
I experienced a service issue after my stay. A refund has been owed since July 2024. I have not received the money or a meaningful reply to emails. This level of disregard for customers is unacceptable.
