Really good stay
lovely entrance immaculate suite heated pool
The hotel entrance presents a lovely first impression. The suite was impeccably clean with daily chocolates. Breakfast offers a huge choice, and dinners include made-to-order options and varied desserts. The heated pool had plentiful sun beds, and the staff showed great attentiveness, especially remembering special occasions.
I found the air conditioning in the room to be somewhat weak.

The staff offered a very cute atmosphere and provided personalized service. They promptly replenished fresh water, coffee, and tea in the room. Attentive service and a friendly smile enhanced the experience daily. The service was really good.

The gym overlooked the beach and featured modern equipment. This provided an excellent workout environment. Gardens are manicured. The hotel includes a heated pool and jacuzzi. The spa provides relaxing massages, and I found the indoor pool and steam room relaxing!

Breakfast on the terrace at El Cenador offered exquisite food and service. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection of cooked items, fruits, cheeses and breads. Dinner buffets presented different options each night. Two additional restaurants offered a three course meal or a tasting menu.

The suite included a balcony with chairs, a table, sunbeds, and a parasol. A turn down service provided chocolates. Beach views from the balcony offered a fine landscape, I found this very relaxing. The room was clean as new and well appointed.

Acceptable Stay with Noticeable Issues
early roadworks uncaring staff
The breakfast was decent I suppose.
The noise from nearby roadworks was pretty bad it seemed to start early each morning with no warning. The staff at reception did not seem to care too much about the noise either they just shrugged their shoulders. This is not the five-star experience I was expecting and certainly not what I paid for.

large pool well-equipped room intolerable noise no response
The hotel pool is very large and many sun beds surround it. Staff greeted every guest warmly and enthusiastically. Our room was on the third floor with a sea view. The room was lovely and very well equipped.
Building work started directly below us and the noise was intolerable. I emailed the general manager twice and received no response. The noise lasted the duration of my holiday minus weekends. Some days the work continued until 7pm.
