Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was absolutely lovely. The rooms were huge and had comfy beds, a huge bathroom with a bath and shower, beautifully decorated with flowers and towel sculptures. The complimentary sparkling wine and lovely greetings card added a special touch. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and hardworking, making my experience truly enjoyable. The location was great, just a 2-minute walk from Madeira Forum Shopping centre. The dining was good overall, though it got a bit repetitive. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall comfort of the stay.
The hotel offers mixed experiences with some ups and downs. The rooms might lack a decent view and show signs of wear, but we managed fine for our stay. The service had its hiccups but ended magically. Beautiful and peaceful sunbathing locations could be disrupted by children. The dining was enjoyable with great variety, especially the omelettes. Facilities overall were good, catering to various needs.
I couldn't have asked for a comfier and cleaner stay with such friendly and polite staff. The hotel's retro charm with the old Phillips TV was a delightful surprise, making each day feel homely. However, the service, while generally top-notch, had a few hiccups like having to request extra milk daily despite tipping our maid. The location was a walker's paradise with easy access to Funchal and a charming fishing village nearby. The dining experience offered some tasty treats but lacked variety. Overall, a cozy and welcoming stay with a few minor bumps along the way.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were excellent, clean, spacious, and well-equipped, although the wifi was a bit unreliable at times. The view overlooking the gardens with a glimpse of the ocean was delightful, but unfortunately, the rooms facing the opposite hotel didn't offer a pleasant view.
