i found the reception staff very kind upon arrival. i appreciated the spacious room i was given, complete with a wonderfully comfortable bed. we received a lovely surprise later that night as an apology for an early morning disturbance.

the phone sometimes went unanswered when i tried to contact room service.

My room had a balcony overlooking boulevard des capucines. Our bathroom included robes, slippers, and wash cloths. i appreciated katherine, she completed the pre-check-in process with me and complimented my french! the hotel stored our bags until check-in. When we returned, they were in our room.

The hotel service was slow. Any room request required a wait of at least an hour. cleanliness seemed non-existent. i had to carry my belongings myself until i moved to another room. i ordered a bathrobe, but it arrived two hours later without a strap and in poor condition.

the staff were wonderful and i received first class service from start to finish. emma and sasha at the reception were very helpful and thoughtful. amenities were great and the location was perfect.

the room smelled unpleasant and was small. the room was poorly heated and the bathroom was cold making even a simple shower uncomfortable. the shower did not function properly
