the staff was friendly and helpful, its true. i loved the building, it is interesting with deco touches. i will stay again. the breakfast had a wide variety of food.
the spa area could use a little maintenance, i did notice some missing tiles.

this location offer easy access to centraal station, it is only minutes walking. you can easily get to the city center. i found its position quite perfect for exploring around.

A Nice Escape

I received an upgrade to a suite, a beautiful surprise. The location is ideal and a short walk from the train station. The spa and pool area felt private at the time of my visit. The building has an excellent historic charm.
I noticed only a slight inconvenience, the walk to main attractions required some time.

Staff members are helpful and friendly. Complimentary soft drinks and water from the minibar was like a thoughtful touch, especially as the weather was warm. Assistance was readily available and greatly appreciated.

the hotel is in a historical building and still in perfect condition (dating back to 1913). the ceilings are tall, cool. the staff are serious and the reason for the five-star rating.

the location was good it was a 7 minute walk to central station and 10 minutes walk to dam square. the staff were friendly and helpful they gave great recommendations for places to visit. the spa was nice with choice in ways to relax
the entrance and bar looked shabby first impressions count. i was asked to pay my bill plus a premium of 250 euros in case i trashed the room. the air conditioning in our room was on constantly and i couldn't turn it off
