Acceptable Stay, But Some Issues
stained carpets rickety furniture
the location proved convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions.
The room showed its age with stained carpets and rickety furniture. It certainly needs updating. a distinct smell permeated the room upon arrival. the breakfast offered a basic selection, which led me to seek out alternatives at a nearby cafe.

jacuzzi bath missing towels
The bathroom had only a shower over the bath. The bath was a large jacuzzi bath. i am disabled and i could not get into it. i needed to go through reception to my daughter's room to shower. also, there were no towels or toilet rolls in my room when i arrived.

I had a standard twin room. the bed was really comfortable. the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. It was a nice feature after a long day. the staff seemed friendly and helpful .

surprisingly pleasant stay
mobility scooter helpful staff fresh smell
i found it very convenient to keep my mobility scooter folded up in my room. the staff was really nice and helpful, even more than i expected. the room was clean and it smelled fresh (always a plus!). the beds were comfortable, and i liked the food, especially with the excellent dining service.

the hotel is ideally located on the seafront, overlooking south bay. many windows and terraces offer great views. the grand staircase is a fine architectural feature, alongside the large function rooms.

the room was a decent size and it had a bath, which my little one enjoyed. new carpets and paint gave the room a fresh feel. the bed was comfy and there were clean towels.

i had a sea view while dining, a nice touch. the breakfast was abundant. the dining staff provided excellent service. i enjoyed the breakfast (especially the pancakes!).
