Really good Anniversary Stay!

I ABSOLUTELY loved the interiors. The fancy, classic design with nice pastel colors was fine. The bed and pillows were SO comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep (it was like sleeping on a cloud!). The tea and coffee facility in the room was great for morning refreshments. A HUGE thank you for the anniversary arrangement in the room. The cheesecake was delicious and such a thoughtful touch!
The elevators seemed a little slow at peak times. Waiting a bit was occasionally needed.

The staff was attentive and hospitable. They catered to EVERY need with a smile. Personal touches were evident in every detail. I REALLY felt valued as a guest. Perfect service created a cute atmosphere.

Our Beautiful King Room was super clean. This added to the overall feeling of luxury. The room had everything needed and more. I felt pampered. The decor was beautiful.

The spa was AMAZING and provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The restaurants offered very good dining experiences. I ENJOYED every meal. The overall ambiance of the hotel contributed to a nice stay.

The location was convenient. It allowed for easy access to nearby attractions. The hotel's setting provided a GREAT base for exploring the city. I walked EVERYWHERE and enjoyed the surroundings.

The Mayfair Suite was beautiful and very luxurious. The bar was stocked well. I received champagne, fruit, and petit fours upon arrival. Breakfast in the room was excellent, and the staff was praiseworthy.
The service charge was unexpected. It was not clear that I could ask to take it off. The service was slow, and I had to ask for the menu multiple times. I never got a tag for the cloakroom and needed to ask for it later.

leaky faucet partial glimpse
the breakfast was fine, a very standard affair with the usual options.
my "superior king room" was anything but. the supposedly luxurious bathroom had a leaky faucet that dripped all night, a constant reminder of the hotel's inflated sense of self-importance. also, the promised park view turned out to be a partial glimpse between two buildings, a big disappointment.

The room overlooked the park and had lovely views. Dinner at Tom Booten's restaurant was pleasant. Drinks at the Vesper Bar was nice and enjoyable.
The fitness center was small. It felt quite cramped. The valet area staff was bothered to assist with bags. The elevators were slow. Only one seemed to work properly.
