The hotel's location is awesome. It provides easy access to Taksim Square and public transport. I experienced an unexpected complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room, so that was amazing. The breakfast buffet was extensive, so it had diverse options to suit every taste.
The gym equipment could use some updating.

the location was convenient , about a 10-minute walk to taksim square. i also appreciated the helpfulness of birol , a staff member. he was very friendly.
the hotel lacked english tv channels , with only news available. i also noticed continuous dripping water noise in my room. it was located under the turkish hammam.

I experienced several issues . The staff at the reception seemed unable to resolve a problem I had (.. ) and were generally unhelpful. the bar staff were quite unfriendly and the drinks were overpriced.
