excellent hotel experience
excellent location early check-in front desk
i found the hotel's location excellent. it allowed easy access to transportation options. i stayed with my family in two rooms and the front desk accommodated every request we had. they even checked us in early so we could shower before heading to a football match (arsenal football match).
the thermostats in the rooms did not work very well. they seemed very sensitive to adjustments. it took a long time for the rooms to cool down after adjustments. also, the temperature did not remain consistent.

the hotel is near blackfriars station (right across the street). this made it very easy to travel around the city. it also is within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and cafes.

the staff were consistently friendly and helpful . they addressed any concerns i had quickly and effectively. i especially appreciated their personalized approach and attention to detail.

location good. service? not so much.
limited menu brick wall
the location across from blackfriars station was definitely convenient.
The minibar wasn't restocked daily, so i often found myself without basics like water, that was annoying. the promised city view from my "king room high street view" was mostly of a brick wall, a huge letdown. also, the room service menu was limited and not available during certain hours. It felt quite restrictive for a hotel of this supposed caliber!

warm air air conditioning
the hotel is conveniently located near the station. transportation was fairly easy to access.
The air conditioning barely functioned. the room became uncomfortably warm, maintenance did attempt to address the issue twice, it remained a problem.
