Reviews and Ratings
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms offered fabulous views over the harbor, and the buffet breakfast was very good with a view of Torbay. The wheelchair access made everything convenient. However, some staff members didn't have very good customer service skills, but Abel the porter and Tracey in the Brasserie were exceptional, always on the ball to provide excellent service.
The hotel offers a comfortable stay with a nearly perfect view of the train track opposite, a cozy bed, and reliable air conditioning. The service was top-notch overall, with some standout helpful staff members but also a few rude encounters. The location is fantastic, right on the seafront with a beautiful view over Torbay, yet some noise from the nearby train station could be heard. The dining experience showcased a variety of dishes, including tasty scrambled eggs, but was not consistent across all offerings. The facilities were well-kept and provided a range of amenities, making the stay enjoyable.
The hotel offers a fantastic location right on the seafront in Torquay with stunning views over Torbay. The rooms provide a great view from the terrace, but there is a slight obstruction in some areas. The service was a mix of excellence and some room for improvement. Dining options were decent but could use some enhancements. Overall, a convenient choice with some areas for improvement.
The hotel has a convenient location right on the seafront in Torquay with a great view over Torbay. The rooms, although feeling a bit like a prison cell with a tiny window and a view of the bar roof, were still comfortable, but the price could be better. The service was outstanding, especially from the restaurant manager, despite some inconsistency with room amenities like a swimming pool robe. The dining experience in the brasserie with its picturesque seaview was delightful, although hot plates could have been a nice addition.
The hotel offers stunning views from the terrace and has friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. I found it to be a decent value for the money.
I had a pleasant stay overall at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and had a balcony with a limited sea view, but the beds were very cozy. The service was excellent, with staff going out of their way to assist, but some improvements in speed could be made. The location was convenient, within walking distance of everything, but not directly on the seafront. Dining offered a good variety, although some minor improvements could be made to enhance the experience. The facilities were adequate and met my needs during the stay.
I stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms had televisions in the bedrooms, offering excellent views from different floors except the second; however, the shower facilities were poor. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster as the staff provided excellent customer service overall, but there was one individual with a really bad manner. The location was a winner, facing the sea front in Torquay with stunning views over Torbay, near the train station but not too far from the town. While the dining experience had a la carte offerings in the brasserie, the lack of hot plates for some dishes was a drawback. The facilities were generally adequate, with some room for improvement. Overall, it was an okay stay with highs and lows.
The hotel offers versatile views, but some rooms may have limited openings or views. Despite this, the friendly service and beautiful location make it a great stay. The dining options vary, and the facilities are well-maintained. Consider the value for money when booking.
With stunning sea views from the room, the hotel offers a unique experience close to the seafront. The portable fan was the only downside, but the genuine service from Abel and Tracey made up for it.
The hotel has a great location right by the sea front, within walking distance of everything. The rooms are kept very clean but lack fans until requested. The service is friendly and genuine, but some staff could be less brusque. The dining experience could be improved with better options. Overall, a nice stay for the value.
The hotel offers a fine stay with good views and excellent service. The location is convenient, although the dining options could be improved. Overall, a comfortable and friendly choice with great value for money.
The hotel is ideally located on the seafront in Torquay, offering a great view over Torbay. The rooms are spacious and modern, but a room with a view of the bar roof wouldn't have been my first choice. The service was exceptional, with helpful and friendly staff like Abel the porter and Tracey in the Brasserie. The dining options were good, although hot plates would have made it better. Overall, a great experience with some minor room allocation issues.
