the room included a spacious bathroom. lovely toiletries were available to use. the garden at the hotel was beautiful and tranquil. it was nice to have the spa facilities nearby.
the hotel accommodation block was quite dated. some areas felt dusty and not well maintained. during check-in, the staff seemed unfamiliar with the system, which caused a slow process. representing the credit card felt insecure.

the location was central. i could EASILY reach historical areas from the back door. the hotel provided secured parking, convenient. i also found two excellent restaurants inside.
the noise isolation was really poor. i could hear everything between rooms and from outside due to the wooden windows. the wifi was crap. the room service menu seemed small and uninspiring, too.

the hotel location was quite good. it was near the train station and the city center. the staff was attentive at the bistro where i ate one evening. i enjoyed my meal there.
my room's air conditioning did not work very well. the room did not get comfortable even at a low setting. communal areas in my wing were hot and humid.
