Grand Canal Boutique Hotel, Amsterdam

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were pretty but had quite a bit of street noise due to the canal view. On the bright side, there is a small private garden, but unfortunately, not all amenities were working properly.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were much larger than usual for Amsterdam and while mine was small, it was perfectly functional. The only downside was that it was not equipped with all the utility stuff I expected. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very helpful, lovely, and welcoming. The location couldn't have been better, right on a quiet canal with everything within walking distance. The dining options were varied, and the fresh pastries in the morning were a delightful touch. Overall, a great value for the money.

The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms for 6 people at a cost comparable to a 3-4 star hotel. The location was amazing, perfect for walking and accessing the city easily. The dining experience offers satisfactory options to enjoy in the lobby, but there were limited choices for Vienna Beef hot dogs. The service was unfortunately rude and unhelpful, though dry cleaning was available.
