adequate stay overall

spacious room comfortable bed crowded area staff attitude

the staff at breakfast went the extra mile. they set up tables in an adjoining room for our celebration. this was a lovely gesture. the room was very spacious. the bed was comfortable.

they did not bring slippers to the room on two occasions. i was told to go to the bar for warm milk or pay 5 euros to have it brought to the room.

helpful staff elegant bar main station dairy intolerance few pillows lukewarm welcome

the hotel is near the main station. it was a 10 minute walk even with my suitcase. the staff were excellent and helpful. the bar is comfortable and elegant.

the breakfast did not cater for anyone with a dairy intolerance. my daughters only had 3 pillows between them in the twin room. the lukewarm welcome on arrival was not ideal.

underwhelming experience

small breakfast area firm bed

the breakfast area was too small people were bumping into each other a lot getting food it was not very relaxing i also found the bed too firm it was hard to get comfortable and i woke up with a sore back the air conditioning barely worked it was difficult to sleep i tried adjusting it but it didn't seem to make much difference. these things impacted my stay negatively.

amazing stay near centrale station!

excellent staff invaluable support convenient location short walk

The staff was excellent. charles roberts at the front desk helped me find local services and provided invaluable support. he deserves a promotion! also, the location was convenient, only a short walk from centrale station. Made traveling so easy, i loved it.

The mini-bar only had water available, there were no other drink options. I found this slightly limited, though it wasn't a big issue.

the breakfast buffet had a good standard, i was satisfied. the selection was varied, though not super extensive, it offered enough choices to start the day well. everything seemed fresh and well-presented.

Check-in was easy and efficient. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. housekeeping was also very attentive! i really felt taken care of during my entire stay.

Acceptable Stay with a Few Hiccups

faulty air conditioning extra water charge

The breakfast was acceptable. I found a few things I liked.

I encountered a couple of issues . The air conditioning in my room barely worked. I reported it, but nothing changed, so the room remained uncomfortably warm. I was surprised to be charged extra for the bottled water in the room at checkout. There was no indication that it wasn't complimentary.
