the concierge was very resourceful. he guided us on tours, places to eat, and shops. emanuel, the bell boy, and gabriel, the concierge, were helpful. the front desk was accommodating and responsive. the clubhouse facilities had many options. vegan options were available! vegetarian options were also provided. all varieties of meat were labeled.
the hotel is old. it needs a lot of maintenance. things like the carpet are worn. the carpet in my room had many stains. there is a lot of mold near the air conditioning and also in several places in the bathroom. it gives you the feeling of being in a sleazy room.

The staff was kind to us and communicative to the kids. the best part was the playgrounds. My kids were so happy there. i also really loved the swimming pool. It was so relaxing!!!
i also noticed that the food and beverage offerings were expensive. breakfast was just okay. It lacked variety.

I loved the breakfast area with a fine selection. Staff at the bar and pool provided attentive service. They looked after me VERY well. The heated pool is a NICE size. It is ideal for families.

the photos looked better than reality. the carpets had stains and seemed moldy. i was disappointed when i arrived. my sheets had stains and the glasses were dirty.

the pool felt great. the view was fantastic from my room. the beach felt almost private, i loved that. breakfast spread had a good variety. the service felt great all around. i enjoyed my stay a lot, it was worth it.
the noise from a nearby club continued late into the night. it was until 6 in the morning. it made sleeping difficult and impacted my rest. this issue should be addressed.

The ocean view from my room was fantastic. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was really nice. The beach was amazing, I always found a spot. I used the bicycles to stroll down to Leblon beach, it was very cool.
I had a small issue with the bathroom faucet dripping. It needs a little maintenance.
