I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The ocean view rooms were modern, spacious, and beautiful, with great balconies to enjoy. The hotel has charming rooms equipped with all you need; however, the children had been given 'free access' to book, and the rooms looked different from the pictures on booking. The service, despite some staff always playing with their mobiles instead of taking care of guests, was highlighted by Felipe, Paulo at breakfast and his crew, Alexandre, and Francisco-club. The location offers a peaceful getaway from the city buzz, allowing you to enjoy Barra beach in Brazil without the usual crowds at Copacabana/Ipanema beach. On the downside, a recommended restaurant was unsuitable, with no English-speaking waiters, catering completely towards locals in a local neighborhood.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was superb, right by the beach and overlooking the lagoon. The rooms were exquisite, with fine amenities from an old Brazilian perfume factory, but they lacked cabinets. The service was top-notch, especially the staff reinforcing mask use during breakfast. The dining experience was average, but the hotel supervisor made it up to us with a free breakfast. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.
