Fantastic Hotel Experience
helpful staff restaurant recommendation
The front desk staff were helpful. One woman showed me three different rooms to find one that suited me. Another woman made an excellent restaurant recommendation. This.
The room shelving was ridiculously HIGH, so I could not use it easily. Other drawer space was very small for clothes, unless one unpacked, unfolded, and hung items up.

The room was looking on the rear garden, so it was fairly quiet at night. This allowed for restful sleep. The level of cleanness was HIGH, and I really appreciated the option to skip daily linen changes.

The location is EXCELLENT, near main attractions and close to the train station. It is also perfect for exploring either the local area or surrounding areas, with a tram station just outside the hotel.

Balanced stay
nice bathtub courteous replies outdated decoration room temperature
The bathtub was a nice feature. The staff addressed a request I made promptly after my departure. They sent courteous replies.
My room seemed outdated. The beds also looked a bit old. The room was warm, so I needed to keep the window open. I also turned on the fan. There was an insect in my room.

excellent breakfast friendly staff helpful staff ill fitting door frame forgotten rags dirty mugs
The breakfast and dining staff were excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful both during the day and in the evening. One of the women at the desk gave me an excellent restaurant recommendation.
The door frame did not fit the door, so light came through the bottom. I made a plan to cover the gap. The cleaning team forgot the dirty rags and coffee mugs in the room one day, but I washed my own mugs.
