adequate stay with some drawbacks
poor breakfastlimited english
the breakfast really disappointed me. i expected more from a hotel of this supposed caliber. the croissants seemed store-bought, not freshly baked. the service staff also struggled a bit, it was really hard to order food at times! and their english skills? not the best, i must say.

Sulleman at reception was helpful. I appreciated his kindness and humor! the hotel itself felt luxurious, especially the pool and tea lounge. i was welcomed warmly, and my room was quite nice, it had great amenities.
The lighting in some hallways was quite dim. That was the only very minor inconvenience.

my standard queen room included a supremely comfortable bed. the room also featured a large television with many channels and temperature controls that worked very well. there were ample outlets for charging devices.

The spa had a serene atmosphere and offered a range of treatments. I noticed there was a sauna and steam room, each very clean. the hotel features an art collection, displayed in public areas, showcasing local artists. there is also a modern gym.

weak signalsound proofing
The wi-fi was certainly spotty, causing some issues with a work call. the signal strength fluctuated wildly, and i had to resort to using my mobile hotspot. A real bother, it was! also, the soundproofing could use some work. i could clearly hear conversations from the adjacent room, which wasn't exactly conducive to a peaceful night's sleep. i mean, who needs to know their neighbor's life story in such vivid detail?

The staff gave all needed information about local attractions and transport options. Maps provided were beneficial for exploring the area. Metro access, shopping, and many restaurants are within a few minutes' walk. I appreciated the lime blossom tea provided in the room. It was so good I ordered some for myself.
The pool area provided limited space. It could be difficult to accommodate more than ten people at once. The pool temperature felt only average.

The breakfast offered a generous selection. The coffee from the machine tasted lovely, even if the machine required some figuring out. The hotel features a fabulous bar and restaurant with excellent service. I enjoyed a drink at the bar, very cosy with great atmosphere.

The room was cosy, clean, and nicely decorated with character. Heating worked well. All towels and sheets felt fresh. The bedroom had its own door, separated from the hall and bathroom, a design I found very convenient. Shutters allowed for a very dark room for sleeping.

The valet parking cost forty euros each day. i found that quite expensive. also, the room i had, a standard queen room, seemed very dark. there weren't many restaurants close by. I wished there was more convenient nearby dining.

separate doorwide selectioninteresting history
the superior queen room included a separate door for the bedroom it added a layer of privacy from the hall and bathroom the generous breakfast offered a wide selection i particularly enjoyed the coffee even though the machine needed some figuring out the hotel's history was interesting i appreciated the beautiful furniture throughout the premises
the car parking was expensive at €40 for one night the car was taken away and stored elsewhere not even parked on the hotel
