The hotel's proximity to the ferry for Miyajima was alright.
The hotel location felt isolated. The shuttle bus service had limited hours, and I had to wait a very long time for a taxi several times. I ate dinner at the steak and seafood restaurant. The service was awful and the staff struggled with English.

I found the shuttle service very convenient upon arrival. The check-in process was quick. The ferry service directly from the hotel to Miyajima made exploring easy and nice (I really enjoyed this perk!).
I found that the gym required an extra fee. I think a hotel gym should always be free . I would be more likely to use it if it was.

I found some aspects of my stay less than ideal. The restaurants closed quite early (around 9:30 pm), i felt a little restricted. There wasn't any room service available either, it made late-night dining impossible. i was surprised to discover that using the swimming pool incurred an additional charge.

the room had ocean views and they were lovely. the hotel had everything i could need. a convenient speedboat to miyajima island from the jetty right out front. clean facilities, great service and also a great view, so i will visit it again!
The location is a bit out of the way. It is about 20 minutes from the main city. this wasn't a huge issue for me, but i would note that restaurant options are limited. there are not many choices near the hotel and the food at the hotel restaurants are expensive.

the rooms have great ocean views. i received an upgrade to a suite, it was a huge corner room. the rooms are clean and relaxing, i will visit this hotel once again.

the hotel location overlooks the harbour and it is amazing. the onsen was nice. direct access to fast ferries, made travelling easy. top service was provided and also great facilities were available.
