Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a convenient location close to tourist attractions and the shopping district. The rooms are average to good, but some issues like overpowering aromas and darkness were present. The service was very kind and helpful, although language barriers were encountered at times. Dining options were good but a bit pricey. The hotel's facilities were modern.
The hotel offers comfortable rooms for a good rest after a long day of exploring Beijing, though they need a renovation as the design feels a bit outdated. The overpowering aromas led to a simple breakfast of fruit and toast due to a missed breakfast on the final day. The rooms, however, are spacious and well-appointed.
The hotel's location is what really makes it worth it, situated between Xidan Station and Xuanwumen Station, close to the church, within walking distance to a shopping mall, and near the Forbidden City and Qianmen by subway. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a sitting area and desk space. The service was very helpful upon our early arrival after a long-haul flight but was marred by a rude response when inquiring about the menu. The dining offerings, while consistent, were good, especially the omelet station, and the large Asian and Western assortment. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained and convenient.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel overall. The rooms were comfortable, although not what I initially booked, and had some overpowering aromas at times. The location was convenient, being close to the metro station. I appreciated the complimentary bottled water provided daily. However, missing out on breakfast on my final day due to an early checkout was a letdown.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The room was fairly spacious, clean, and comfortable, although it had a lingering smell of stale cigarettes. The service was helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring downtown tourist destinations. The dining experience offered a good selection, although it was catered more towards Chinese guests.
