Grand Hotel Imperiale Resort & Spa, Moltrasio

The hotel's location is fantastic right by the lake with a helpful and pleasant staff. However, the dining options could be improved, and the nearby hotel offers a cozier alternative at a lower cost.

The hotel offers a large room with a fantastic view over the tennis courts to a waterfall through the village, suitable for 3 people. The room was a bit outdated and simple, with some minor issues like a peculiar smell, low water pressure, noisy air conditioning, and intermittent magnetic keys.

I had a mix of experiences at this hotel during my stay. While the room was extremely small, it was clean and of a high standard with fantastic views. The service was a bit matter of fact at times, but overall very friendly and helpful. The location was lovely and reasonably priced, offering a peaceful atmosphere and convenient access to explore the surrounding areas. The dining experience was exceptionally good, with stunning Italian architecture and smiling staff, although initial greetings were a bit off-putting. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
