The hotel is totally classic with clean and up to the expected level rooms but some ongoing maintenance works. The service was outstanding with a mix of foreign and local staff; however, the rooftop was closed due to bad weather. The location is ideal for those wanting to visit West Lake, being very close to local attractions and shopping streets. The dining experience was awesome with a big choice of dishes. The facilities are top-notch, earning a high rating.

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms on Level 9 were spacious, clean, and comfortable, although I had a bit of trouble with accessing my room on the 9th floor using my key. The service provided by the English-speaking westerners and the international assistant managers was exceptional, with the most comfy beds I've experienced in China. The location near the West Lake was strategic and convenient for exploring nearby attractions.
