Paul greeted me warmly upon my arrival, his friendly demeanor setting a positive tone for my stay. The room was super clean and very well kept. The television was a good size. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night (especially after a long day of exploring).
The immediate surroundings of the hotel felt slightly less safe during the night. I'd still recommend it, just with a note to be aware after dark.

Really good Building with Excellent Service

The room was spacious and had modern amenities. I found the building to be in a perfect location for my trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating to my needs. Parking nearby was easily accessible, a definite plus.
The soundproofing was not ideal as noise from the pub downstairs was audible. This made sleeping a bit difficult. A warning about this noise would have been helpful.

Staff members were attentive. They provided helpful suggestions regarding local attractions. Communication was prompt. the requests I had were addressed quickly, which I appreciate greatly. The service definitely contributes to a seamless stay.

Although dining options were somewhat limited directly near the place, the owner suggested great alternatives. Reaching restaurants was straightforward by Uber, it made accessing varied cuisines manageable. I found this arrangement satisfactory for meal planning.

The owner, Paul, greeted me warmly and offered a quick tour. The room included comfortable beds and essential toiletries. Bins were emptied each day, a nice touch (I always appreciate that). The building's interior featured a beautiful historic design. The shower in the bathroom had a rainfall showerhead. It felt amazing. The room was very clean upon arrival, which I value a lot. I found parking easily, a big plus. The location offered easy access to nearby shops and restaurants.
The external metal staircase to enter the hotel was a bit slippery when wet.
