Hotel Riu Palace Costa Rica, Matapalo (Guanacaste)

I was delighted with my stay at the hotel. The rooms were kept very clean, and I had a phenomenal balcony overlooking the rainforest. The staff provided great service, although there was a minor hiccup with the manager. The location was picturesque with beautiful gardens and iguanas roaming around. The dining options were good but skewed towards American fare. Overall, a lovely experience with minor room for improvement.

The hotel offers breathtaking mountain views from the rooms, which are equipped with modern amenities including a hairdryer, safe, toiletries, and an iron. The jacuzzi bath adds a luxurious touch to the clean and comfortable accommodations. The price provides great value for the quality of the rooms.

I had the best time at the hotel! The rooms were amazing, and the outdoor jacuzzi on our private balcony was a highlight. The amenities were fantastic, and everything was kept so clean. Oh, what a hidden gem of a hotel! Tucked away in a relatively secluded area, surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens where you might catch a glimpse of iguanas casually roaming around. The service was a bit lacking, but they promised to pass on my feedback to the Riu Palace management. The area where they serve lunch transforms into a steakhouse at night, offering a unique dining experience. The room service was excellent, especially in the Premium cabin, making me feel truly pampered.
