I found the hotel to be convenient, clean, and comfortable. The rooms, although somewhat dated, were clean and cozy, fitting with the authentic feel of the hotel. The hotel had very uniquely designed rooms with a sloping floor and no mini-bar, but they were still comfortable and clean, a welcome retreat in the scorching 38-degree heat. The picturesque elevator added to the charm of the stay. The service was genuinely kind and helpful, though there were some issues with table clearing towards the end of service. The central location near the Botanical Gardens and River was incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The dining options were varied and satisfying, with a great breakfast selection. Overall, a memorable stay with some minor quirks.
