The hotel was not exactly what we expected based on the booking photos. The room was clean and quite, but small and uncomfortable with a shower in poor condition. While the location was good for shopping and evening outings, it was awfully crowded at times. The dining experience was great with a lovely breakfast room, but starting at 7:30 was a bit late. Overall, the service was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I stayed at the hotel and overall had a mixed experience. The rooms were large but a bit disappointing - the WiFi didn't work well, and the carpet was damp due to the AC. However, the layout with a separate bathroom, hall with wardrobe, and bedroom was convenient. The hotel location was good, although a bit of a walk uphill to some areas. The service was excellent, with friendly and professional staff. The dining options were decent, with an excellent meal at the LMB restaurant but disappointing pricing. The facilities were standard.
I was expecting a bit more from booking a superior room as it turned out to be small and dingy. However, the room did come with bath robes, slippers, and nice toiletries. I appreciated the separate toilet from the bathroom and the nice decoration. The service was a mix of incompetence from the manager but the very sweet and nice employees were friendly and helpful. The location was good, not beachfront but close to the grand plage, ideal for exploring Biarritz. Dining options were decent during the last hour of service. The hotel had a good range of choices. The facilities were acceptable, with some room for improvement.
