Jw Marriott Cannes - Five-star beachfront hotel on Boulevard de la Croisette with a rooftop pool and private partner beach
Overlooking the Mediterranean from its perch on Boulevard de la Croisette, this 5-star hotel sits 50 meters from the sand and offers a rooftop seasonal pool, a private partner beach (with paid access), a casino, and a shopping mall. The hotel played host to the first Cannes Film Festival and remains a central spot for both business and leisure travelers. Accommodations blend cream-and-chocolate tones with Film Festival motifs, and many rooms feature LCD satellite TVs; select rooms include balconies with views of the bay and the Lerins Islands. An American breakfast buffet is served daily at the Jw Marriott Cannes. Onsite dining includes Scalini, a restaurant offering traditional, upscale Italian cuisine, while the Sunset Terrace serves champagne and cocktails against the evening sky. Room service operates 24 hours daily, though night-owl menus are limited. The wellness facilities comprise a fitness center and an outdoor rooftop pool open seasonally. A full-service business center, meeting and banquet facilities, express check-in/check-out, and concierge services cater to corporate guests. Family amenities include a kids' club, family rooms, and kid-friendly buffet options; the property is also wheelchair accessible and offers facilities for disabled guests. Some guest reviews note that the pool may be closed during private events or festival periods, and that beach access requires a paid reservation at the hotel's partner club.
Pros

Rooftop pool with panoramic sea views and a seasonal outdoor pool.
Diverse dining options including Scalini Italian restaurant and rooftop cocktail terrace with sunset views.

Cons
Beach access is not free; guests must pay for chairs at the partner beach club (e.g., €75-€95 per person).
The rooftop pool area is small and may close for private events or seasonal reasons; no spa or sauna on site.
