Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is situated in an elevated area overlooking nature's beauty, stocked with everything we needed and good for the hikes we wanted to take. However, it's not convenient to take advantage of all Sedona has to offer. The rooms had extra blankets and pool towels, but there were cleanliness issues like dirty carpet and a dated shower. The service seemed unaware of our existence, and some furniture was in bad shape. The dining didn't offer much aside from smoked salmon bagels, but the facilities were decent.
The ground floor room wasn't as fresh as I expected, but it was a nice size and the bathroom was great. However, dealing with bugs was a downside. The service wasn't the typical hotel experience, with some trying too hard, but Dany was exceptional. The location was good, close to popular attractions but had some minor issues.
The hotel doesn't offer views of the beautiful red rocks, lacks daily cleaning and WiFi, but the hot tub and pools are great size and comfortable. I'm planning to return next year.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms near the main pool and recreation room were very spacious and clean, but unfortunately, my room was small, dark, on a low level facing the parking lot, which was disappointing for a long-time guest accustomed to better views. The service was friendly and helpful overall, but it was a letdown that they insisted on a sales presentation for certain advice. The location was ideal for hiking excursions to Soldiers Pass, Faye Canyon, and Devils Bridge, but attention to room details like the toilet, shower, and sink arrangement was lacking. The lack of dining options and the absence of breakfast were definite drawbacks. However, the facilities were satisfactory.
