The room was not clean. i found hair in the bathroom. the window wouldn't close properly allowing street noise in the night. also, the room lacked a kettle. I couldn't make tea.

I found some issues with the cleanliness! the shower tiles had noticeable mildew, and the window handles were broken so they didn't close properly. It caused a bit of inconvenience. i did not appreciate this level of disrepair.

The front desk staff proved helpful and accommodating! the room included a fridge and comfy beds. i noticed a hot drink dispenser plus a snack machine in the foyer. the staff gave us a jug to borrow so we could make our own hot drinks. It was a sweet gesture.

The hotel is near the eurostar train station. This made arrival simple. many food options are within an easy walk, including lovely bistros and bakeries. it is a very convenient area for transportation to various attractions.

bathroom moldslow drain
I found a few things not up to par. The bathroom had some mold. The shower also drained very slowly. Street noise was quite loud at night it made sleeping difficult. I think some improvements are needed for the price.

The bathroom showed visible mold. The shower drain was blocked and never fixed, despite reporting it promptly. The room lacked a fan initially. This caused discomfort until one was provided upon request. There was noticeable street noise even with closed windows. This made restful sleep challenging.
