I had a unique experience staying in a Western cabin at this lodge. The cabin was spacious with comfortable amenities, and the views were simply stunning. The food options were excellent, but the prices were on the higher side. I found the service helpful overall, but be prepared for potentially high dining costs.

I had a surprisingly pleasant stay even though this hotel was a compromise after I couldn't find a spot at the South Rim. The North Rim's calm atmosphere was a refreshing escape. The cabins, while basic, were well-kept, and the views were simply stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. However, the dining options were overpriced and the service left something to be desired. Still, I would love to return for the serene experience.

My experience at the Grand Canyon Lodge North Rim was unfortunately quite disappointing. While the location is breathtaking and the cabins have a rustic charm, the overall cleanliness and service left much to be desired. The high price point does not reflect the quality of the accommodations or dining options, making it hard to justify staying here.
Rooms
5.0
The cabin was charming but not particularly clean, and the overall size was smaller than expected. The carpet was in desperate need of cleaning, and the bathroom setup was quite cramped.
Service

The service was lacking, with prioritization seemingly given to large tour groups over individual guests. There was also an issue with water facilities that impacted our stay.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, providing easy access to the stunning views of the Grand Canyon. It's clear that the setting is the main draw.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a major letdown; the breakfast buffet was overpriced and not worth the expense, and the overall dining experience was inefficient.
Facilities

The lodge offers a unique rustic charm in a quiet setting, providing a comfortable escape, especially during the summer months. The cabins are well-equipped for a cozy stay, though they're a bit dated. While the dining options are limited, I found the food to be satisfactory, though not outstanding. The value seems reasonable for the experience, but some areas certainly need improvement.

The North Rim cabins offer stunning views and a serene atmosphere, which is a major plus for visiting the Grand Canyon. However, the accommodations are quite outdated with some cleanliness issues that need addressing. The location is amazing as it's close to the rim, and easy access to trails is a big advantage, but the rooms could definitely benefit from some renovations.
Rooms
The cabins are rustic and have a charm, but they are definitely showing their age. While the Frontier cabin we stayed in was comfortable, the cleanliness was lacking, with dirty carpets and worn curtains. Rating: 6/10
Service

The stay at the Grand Canyon North Rim was a mixed experience. The views from the cabins are absolutely breathtaking, and the rustic feel added to the charm of being in such a beautiful natural setting. However, the lack of modern amenities and unexpected park entrance fees took away from the overall enjoyment. If you're looking for a truly remote and quiet getaway, this place may suit your needs, but be prepared for some inconveniences.

My stay at the Lodge was quite the mixed bag. The stunning scenery and a few great meals definitely stood out, but several issues with check-in and room conditions made the experience less enjoyable than I had hoped. While the service was friendly during my meals, the excessive wait times and lack of communication during check-in really put a damper on things.

Staying at the Grand Canyon Lodge - North Rim was a mixed experience. The location is absolutely stunning, set deep in the forest and just a short walk to the canyon's edge, making it perfect for photographers. However, the frontier cabin we had was quite small and could use some serious cleaning. It's the only lodge close to the canyon, so it has that going for it, but the value for money wasn't ideal given the cramped and dirty conditions.
Rooms

Our frontier cabin was extremely small with dirty carpets and tiny, uncomfortable beds. There was hardly any space to move around.
Service

Our stay in the pioneer cabin was overall very enjoyable. The rustic charm and proximity to the canyon made for great memories, but the heat in the bunk room was a bit uncomfortable, and we had a few issues with parking. Also, a better selection at the deli would have been appreciated. However, the unique experience was worth it.

The lodge offers a stunning setting with convenient access to various amenities but has some serious management and maintenance issues. While I appreciated the beautiful surroundings and the clustering of services, my experience was marred by frustrating check-in procedures and lack of basic room comfort. The lodge offers stunning views and a great location for hiking, but some aspects leave much to be desired. I encountered issues with service and had to deal with a frustrating dining situation that ultimately pushed us to get food elsewhere.
