Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Edinburgh Grand is praised for its fantastic location, with the tram to the airport conveniently stopping right outside and Waverley Station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and enjoy the city centre. Guests consistently highlight the spacious and well-appointed suites, often featuring full kitchens and comfortable king-sized beds. Some guests have mentioned occasional noise from the tram, but overall, the hotel's neoclassical elegance and proximity to St Andrews Square's fine restaurants and high-end shops like Louis Vuitton and Gucci make it a popular choice.

the location proved quite convenient.
getting into the room required inputting a code into a tiny keypad set at waist level in a dimly lit corridor. this proved difficult. the room was also excessively dark despite figuring out the electric switches.

The location was excellent. Really handy for the train station and princes street. the breakfast was superb, with great coffee. the staff were all so friendly and helpful, though they could have been more attentive during peak hours.
Despite the well-equipped kitchen, the room fell short of expectations set by the photos! the rooms were dark, furnished with cheap pieces, and in need of attention. the robes were quite worn. the bathroom was too close to the bed. You step directly into it.

The breakfast was AMAZING!!! The room included the best washer and dryer. This was useful after weeks of travel. The bed was comfy, and I liked the luxurious amenities provided.
The room I got was not the best. I would have liked a larger mirror in the room because I needed to get ready in the hot, steamy bathroom each morning.
