The Royal Haciendas Resort & Spa, Playa del Carmen

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a little dark at night but were kept spotlessly clean and refreshed. They faced the street and, although dated, were incredibly clean. The service was excellent and responsive, with staff who were so welcoming, helpful, kind, and trustworthy. The location was maintained and in great shape, directly on the beach, which is one of the best aspects. However, it could use some more shaded areas for people who can't be exposed to much sun. The dining was on point every night, but it did get tiresome, although the food was good and well-prepared. The facilities were great and offered various activities like yoga, zumba, aqua classes, water and beach volleyball.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, complete with a convenient kitchenette. The service was top-notch, with a warm and welcoming attitude from all staff members. The location provided a peaceful escape, close to Playa for shopping and sightseeing, despite some seaweed on the beach. The dining experience was pleasant, especially enjoying breakfast by the ocean. The facilities were well-kept and added to the overall comfort of my stay.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The rooms had everything a family with young kids needs, spacious with a giant king bed, closet space, and a safe. They were very clean and spacious. The pools were nice, beautiful, with plenty of sun chairs near the pools and on the beach. The service was truly outstanding, especially from the bell boys and the waiters. They were very attentive and friendly throughout. The location, despite suffering from a seaweed problem, was stunning. The beautiful, clean, and well-maintained beach was a highlight. The dining experience was mixed, with nice different themes but not all dishes were favorites. Overall, a great stay with some minor hiccups.
