Rooms Smaller than Advertised

small roomodd bathroom
The room size was smaller than I anticipated. There was hardly space for luggage. The bathroom layout was peculiar. The showerhead kept falling.

Aventine Quiet Comfort

quiet locationconvenient parkingtourist points
I liked the location, away from traffic. The hotel provides parking for fifteen euro each night. I reached tourist points by foot. I find this convenient.
My room was a bit small, not very comfortable for two people. The breakfast team were disorganized, so it was hard to get coffee. Food options were limited.
Rooms
8/10
The room included a mini-bar stocked with beverages and snacks. It also featured a safe for storing valuables, very useful. Daily housekeeping kept things tidy. I liked this.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast had a large assortment of foods. The selection was varied. The breakfast room was well decorated with light colors and airy spaces. The staff helped find space for our group. This helped us.
Location
10/10
The hotel located in a quiet residential area on a hilltop. The area had similar polite and respectful guests. I found the walk to the Vatican a fifty minute walk. I liked seeing the city.
Service
9/10
The front desk staff was helpful with directions. They gave clear guidance. Staff spoke English well. It made communication easy. The staff reserved evening meals at nearby sister hotels. This made dinner easy.

breakfast was excellent with a great selection.
The staff was rude and snobbish to my family and me. the hotel advertises itself as a 4-star facility. It felt more like a 3-star. food and drink options were very limited and overpriced.

Really good Boutique Hotel Experience!

serene locationhelpful stafffantastic restaurantexcellent hotel
The location is serene, yet a short walk to major attractions. I loved the staff, they gave many helpful suggestions. There are two other properties, and the restaurant next door is fantastic. The hotel in itself is excellent, even more, in real life, so prepare to be stunned!
The breakfast could include some additional options. It could have a bit more variety.
