The reception staff were very cute, and they promptly arranged a taxi for me. My room included two complimentary bottles of water and a selection of biscuits. I found plenty of good restaurants within a short walk of the building.
The hotel lacks modern decor and feels a little dated. I also found the bar area unwelcoming.

The room included a queen bed with comfortable pillows, and a small writing desk. The bathroom had a shower with adjustable water pressure. I noticed that towels were changed daily and the room was cleaned, thoroughly.

i found an issue with parking. i should have paid 48 euros for the three days i was there. the staff talked to the manager and offered to refund the 16 euros i overpaid for one day, but i still haven't seen it.

The location is central. It is within walking distance of major attractions and public transport. A public parking garage sits just across the street (I got a discount from the hotel). The hotel's proximity to the square adjacent to the Capitole is a definite plus.
My room had a broken air conditioner when i first arrived. I did need to wait two days to change the room (the staff initially only offered a fan).

The breakfast offered a good variety. I especially enjoyed the croissants, coffee, and tea. There was also salmon and cheese available (a pleasant surprise).
