Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at a hotel with small, dark rooms on multiple levels but upgraded to a deluxe queen room that was spacious, sumptuous, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was excellent, helping us plan our days, although there were some instances of arrogance. The location was full of character and perfect for exploring central Toulouse, despite some challenges with access control points. The dining experience offered nice, fresh, mostly continental food but with room for improvement. Overall, worth the value with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel is wonderfully located in the very center of Toulouse, right on the Plaza of the Capitole. The rooms, though on an annex to the main building, are fully adapted for wheelchair use, but service in the bar can be slow. The service provided was simply marvelous, and the dining experience, while decent, may feel a bit overpriced for what you get.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Toulouse, adjacent to the main square, Christmas market, and charming restaurants and cafes. The rooms, though spacious, are accessed via a service staircase and lack natural light. The friendly staff provide adequate service despite check-in confusion. The dining experience offers a broad selection of continental breakfast options. The underground location is a drawback with minimal natural light and small windows.
The hotel offers richly furnished rooms in the style of the 19th-century bourgeoisie, though the bathrooms and air-conditioning are a bit worn and outdated. The location is convenient, right across the street, which is satisfactory but not exceptional.
The hotel showcased very modest rooms that, despite being quiet, could have been larger for the amount of guests. The service was most courteous and cheerful, with staff being friendly and supportive. The location felt rather lavish, although tricky to navigate in the dark, right in the very center of Toulouse. Dining provided a nice and fresh continental selection, albeit a bit on the high price side.
I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The timeless French-style rooms were beautifully furnished with period furniture, red wallpaper, and plush chairs adding a touch of luxury. The split layout, though elegant, could be slightly hazardous with the slippery marble steps. The location couldn't have been more central, surrounded by retail shops and incredible sites, making it a convenient choice for a weekend in Toulouse. The dining experience was a bit limited, but the service exceeded my expectations with friendly and helpful staff.
