Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the hotel's beautiful décor and appreciate the convenient location, with the British Museum and the Museum Tavern just around the corner, and easy access to Tottenham Court Road & Oxford Street. The light and spacious rooms often feature a king-size bed, ample wardrobe space, tea/coffee facilities, and comfortable amenities like dressing gowns and slippers. Some guests have noted that certain rooms may have smaller windows, but many find the rooms quiet despite the central location. Dining experiences, especially in the dining room, are frequently highlighted, with dishes like steak and Duck Ragu receiving high marks, and the bar offers a relaxed atmosphere.

limited closetbreakfast variety
The room I was assigned felt somewhat compact for the price. I found the closet space limited. Storage became a slight issue . the breakfast buffet, while satisfactory, did not entirely justify its cost. I thought more variety would improve the morning experience.

adequate stay, some issues noticed

small roomineffective air conditioning
the room size was smaller than i expected from the photos (i felt a bit cramped). also, the air conditioning was not effective enough during the warmer hours of the day. this made it difficult to relax comfortably in the room during those times. a noisy fan was provided, but it didn't really solve the problem.

the complimentary bathrobe was acceptable.
the room was a disappointment because it was very small. drying myself and getting dressed in the bathroom was difficult. the bathroom was that tiny. some electrical fittings did not work. the room itself was overdue for a refreshing paint job.
