Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was nice overall. Rooms were a bit delayed for check-in, and my room felt a bit cold, especially in the old part of the hotel. The service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to assist us. The location was beautiful, surpassing some five-star resorts we've visited. The dining experience was good with various options, and the hotel offered good value for money compared to others in the area.
The hotel offers a wonderful view from the rooms with fresh flowers and complimentary apples and water. However, the service was a bit hit and miss, noticeable from the late afternoon replenishment. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor room-related setbacks.
The hotel had a slight smell of dampness and water damage in the rooms, which was a downside. However, the rooms looked just like the pictures seen while booking, and the staff members were very friendly. The check-in was a bit delayed, not ready until 3 pm instead of the advertised 2 pm.
The hotel offers a mixed experience. The rooms, although not attended to until late in the afternoon, are large enough but lack that wow factor, which was disappointing. On the upside, the service was excellent, except for some rude encounters during check-in and check-out. The location is stunning with free breakfast and drinks overlooking the sea, though not reaching the expected level. Dining, while nice with a good variety, did become repetitive. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.
The hotel is located just next to the beautiful Thurston Gardens and the Government Buildings, a short distance from downtown Suva. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you need, offering a great view of Albert Park. The service, although attentive in some aspects, lacks a bit in efficiency and speed. The location is perfect for exploring Suva, but some amenities like breakfast could be improved. The dining experience, although decent, doesn't fully match the quality of the hotel.
