Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with outstanding artwork and food, although they could use a bit more decoration. The service is friendly and informative, but there are confusion issues. The location is beautiful with great stores and restaurants nearby, ideal for leisure and work stays. The dining experience includes fresh-baked scones. While the facilities are generally good, some improvements could enhance the overall experience.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms, although the room rates were a bit high. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, although the valet service had an additional cost. The location was charming with proximity to nice shops and restaurants, including the fantastic Birmingham Botanical Gardens across the street.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were pleasant. The morning view at 10 was quite nice, with an exceptional bed and bathroom. The friendliness of the staff added to a pleasant experience, making it great for car-weary travelers like me with lots of luggage. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, near great shops and restaurants, and even a botanical garden. The dining experience, especially the nachos, was delightful. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was delightful! The rooms were nice with a big shower and lovely amenities. The artwork and food were outstanding, reminiscent of the experience I had at the Elyton. However, I found the Grand Bohemian to be just okay compared to the Hampton downtown.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms were very nice and super spacious, providing a quiet atmosphere, although I was awakened at 0600 by a bridal party next door. The service was incredibly welcoming, making me feel like royalty with their friendly attitude. The location was impressive with great nearby stores and restaurants, offering a beautiful, nature-filled, and safe environment. The hotel facilities were convenient and well-kept, enhancing the overall experience.
Staying at the Hampton downtown was a fantastic experience overall. The rooms were super spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfy and modern with plenty of well-placed outlets. However, the service was inconsistent and sometimes frustrating, especially with confusion around booking certain amenities. The location was superb, offering easy access to neat shops, great walking trails, and excellent dining spots. The dining experience was simple but satisfactory, and the hotel's facilities were adequate.
