Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were facing a busy road, but had a 'garden' view from the room. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though there was a bit of a disturbing conversation with them. The location was great, near the center of Opatija and the Lungo Mare promenade. The dining options were good, but there wasn't much variation. Despite some flaws, the facilities were decent overall.

The staff, especially in the Tantra spa and bar, were professional and pleasant, but privacy issues in the wellness facilities were a bit disturbing. The location, with a breathtaking sea view right in front of the hotel, was simply outstanding, though access to saunas was restricted. The dining, especially the fresh and varied vegetable and fruit offerings, was delightful, but the prices could be considered a bit high for what was served.
