mixed feelings about my stay

the location was good because it was close to many galleries and restaurants.
My room felt small. The bathroom was particularly cramped. the shower was tiny. Bending over in it was difficult. it didn't feel like a 4-star experience.

The breakfast was good. I enjoyed the filtered water, it was in glass containers, not plastic. The coffee from the machine was also good.
Our room was small. The bathroom was tiny as well. The shower was a little bigger than a phone booth. It was not very comfortable.

the location proved convenient, with numerous galleries and restaurants nearby. i found the staff very accommodating. sanjay (the concierge) and marie provided invaluable assistance securing reservations at popular spots. i had a good superior room, filled with lots of sunlight because it faced the front.
the spiral stair is very similar to the turrets stars in castles i visited, narrow and steep (i didn't see a second stair).

the concierge, sanjay, offered excellent service and gave great suggestions for local restaurants. marie also assisted me with reservations. the breakfast staff provided really good service and fulfilled every request (especially when i asked for almond cake).

the breakfast buffet included delicious options, like homemade almond cake. fresh coffee was available at breakfast. there are various cafés located just outside the hotel entrance. i was able to easily find dinner and drinks within walking distance.

the hotel offers robes and slippers. my room had a clean, ample bathroom. the hotel has a spa. i also liked that the hotel had filtered water and glass water containers in the room rather than plastic ones.

the hotel is right in the heart of the sixth arrondissement. the surrounding streets are full of charming art galleries and shops. the hotel is within walking distance to the louvre and notre dame. a boulangerie is located right beneath the hotel.
