The St. Regis Venice, Venice

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was superb, with a great view over the Grand Canal and close to major tourist sites; however, getting connected was a bit complicated. The rooms were well-furnished and finished to a high standard, making it easier for the hotel to maintain cleanliness over time. The service, especially from the management team, was incredibly helpful, though a bit inconsistent. The dining experience was lackluster, with limited options and service quality. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some room for improvement.

The rooms, though showing signs of wear with a loose mirror and wobbly toilet seat, exuded an understated luxury that made the most of the small space. However, the inconsistent room temperature due to broken A/C in the middle of the night was a discomfort. The location offered great access to Venice's main attractions but was slightly hidden from the main shopping street. I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was superb, overlooking the entrance to the Grand Canal and just steps away from St Mark's Square. The rooms were lovely, exactly as shown in the website photos and in pristine condition. The service was incredibly helpful for anything concerning Venice, making my experience unforgettable. The dining experience was exceptional, especially when sitting overlooking the Grand Canal. Overall, a fantastic choice for a luxurious and convenient Venice getaway!

My honeymoon stay at this hotel was exquisite. It oozes understated luxury and is incredibly well thought-through to make the most of a small footprint. The rooms were large and very clean, though not being ready upon arrival was a minor setback. The service was respectful, although slow, which is supposedly how Europeans are; however, the staff were excellent to deal with and most helpful and efficient with all of our needs and desires from tourism information to helping with business needs. The location was great, close to St Mark's Square, La Fenice, Harry's Bar, the Contini Art Gallery, and the best places for shopping. The dining experience had some luxury options, and it was one of the highlights of our stay, except for a little frantic morning due to staff being busy with additional guests on a private Danish function.
