Grand Sagcanlar Hotel, Istanbul

The hotel location is good near public transportation with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Despite feeling unsafe to go out due to the rough surroundings, it's convenient for accessing Yenikapi by metro. The rooms were not very clean with stains and dirt on the carpets, but they offered a free upgrade to a room with a better view, which was appreciated. The service was generally welcoming, although there was an incident where one staff member got upset when we checked out. The dining experience had various traditional Turkish foods but lacked in quality for the money paid. Overall, the hotel has potential for improvement in cleanliness and dining quality.

My stay at the hotel was overall satisfying. The rooms were small but adequate for two people. However, there was quite a bit of noise from families with loud children. The service was excellent, especially from Ali at the front desk. The location was convenient, although cleanliness and safety could be improved. The dining options were limited, with some dishes not meeting expectations.
