Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a beautiful location with lush surroundings and a wonderful view of the marina. The rooms were smaller than expected but still very nice, clean, and in proper working order. The service staff were courteous and friendly but appeared limited in solving issues. The dining experience was excellent, offering some of the best meals I've had in a US hotel. The facilities were great, especially the lovely pools and palm trees on site.
I had a fantastic experience at the hotel. The modern decor and cleanliness of the rooms were superb, making for a comfortable stay. The Bayview room was worth it for the stunning views, but having only two double beds was a bit average. The service was top-notch and extremely friendly, with excellent assistance available for room service, car hire, dry cleaning, and laundry. The location was resort-like, offering a beautiful seaside view, gardens, and a swimming pool, perfect for a relaxing stay. The dining experience was a bit limited, but the hot dogs were a tasty option. Overall, a great value for the money with a few minor drawbacks.
I chose this hotel for its awesome location to enjoy Downtown San Diego, close to Gaslamp District, Seaport Village, and with easy access to various attractions. The rooms, while comfy, were a little small, but each had a small balcony with lovely views of either the city or the marina. Service was fantastic, especially from Michael who provided detailed local knowledge and insisted on gratuity for our free breakfast. The dining was standard fare, but alternatives were nearby. Overall, I had a pleasant stay with some minor flaws.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel from March 03rd, 2019 through March 06th, 2019. The rooms were clean and comfy, and we were lucky to enjoy the Christmas boat parade right from our balcony. The service was outstanding with friendly and courteous staff. The location was amazing, offering easy access to the Gaslamp area and beautiful views of the water. Dining at Marina Kitchen was very nice, but with limited options. Overall, it was a great experience with a few minor drawbacks.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room was not as expected, lacking certain amenities like a king bed and bottled water, but the service was outstanding, especially from the concierge. The location was convenient for exploring the area, although there were ongoing engineering works. The breakfast buffet was a letdown, but the freshly baked cookies were a nice touch.
