Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had an unpleasant odor and needed a good cleaning, but the Mountain View was enjoyable. The outdated shower and small TV were drawbacks, although being legal added to the convenience of the stay. The service was excellent, especially with our late arrival, but the dining options were disappointing. The location was great for exploring Keystone and within walking distance to attractions, yet the small size was a downside. While the hotel facilities were basic, the proximity to Mount Rushmore was a highlight.
The hotel offers a great view but the room was not made up between days. It had a musty smell, yet it seemed clean. The service was friendly and helpful, even though they left our room unlocked with our belongings inside. The location is perfect for seeing Mount Rushmore and is close to everything in the area. The dining was ok, but I would have preferred something hot. The facilities were adequate, though basic.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fabulous for exploring Mount Rushmore and the sights in Keystone, with parking spots available. However, the rooms had a strong smell as if multiple animals had stayed, were not made up between days, and felt outdated, particularly the shower and the small TV. The dining options were quite poor with just packaged pastries and limited choices.
