the breakfast was a generous buffet. i particularly enjoyed the charming private garden. the hotel also had a great location near shops.
the hvac system seemed quite old, the thermostat did not appear to work. the room temperature seemed like a constant 28c. the noise from the street kept me awake at night.

the location IS central, with access to many attractions.
the room i was given felt dated and quite small for a 5 star hotel. there was limited space around the bed, and the single bedside table was inconvenient. i ALSO noticed noise from adjacent rooms at times, not ideal.

awkward bathroom designshower flooding
the room felt smaller than expected for a hotel of this supposed caliber the bathroom's design felt awkward. a partial glass screen barely contained water from the shower this caused minor flooding each time i showered it felt more like a three-star experience despite the cost. also there wasn't a bedside table on one side of the bed. this meant i had nowhere to put my glasses or a book at night

The room size felt smaller than I expect for a hotel. The bathroom felt especially cramped. Moving around required some maneuvering. I also found the lack of modern connectors, such as USB ports, inconvenient for charging my devices. These things..
