the hotel grounds include cactus and olive tree gardens. i found the views to be fabulous. a rocky beach faces ortigia and a sandy beach overlooks a cove.
the hotel is a drive from the main city center. taxis cost 30 euro each way. i found the absence of complimentary water bottles a bit unusual.

i found the staff lovely and super helpful, even from my room's beautiful balcony. there was a rocky beach plus a sandy beach. the breakfast impressed me, it felt the best while i travel.
ordering anything demands using whatsapp, i did find reduced human contact disturbing.

it is situated away from the crowds, but a car becomes necessary. you gain exclusive entry to beaches that feature both sand and rock. the location give great outlooks of ortigia across the sea.
