Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is newly renovated, impressively clean, and very cozy, offering a pleasant stay. However, the room layout with only one bed did not suit our family of four. The staff is friendly, but there were instances of unprofessional behavior. The location is convenient and within walking distance of various activities, though some extra charges were incurred. The dining experience had its flaws, but the facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel didn't meet my expectations overall; the wooden flooring in the room felt less cozy than carpet, and the room size was smaller than described. However, the service was excellent, from the friendly staff to the accommodating valet. The location was perfect, close to everything one would want to visit. The dining experience was overpriced and below expectations.
I found the hotel to be clean and welcoming, with comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. However, the dining experience fell short of expectations due to limited options and high prices. The location was convenient, albeit a bit tricky to locate at first.
The hotel room at 10 pm at night was amazing with a beautiful view and included amenities offered by many other hotels. However, it was not to my liking. The service provided by the front desk clerk to take us up 12 floors to the northwest and help with any needs was excellent, including the assistance to operate the front desk and prepare our room service meals. The location, although clean and welcoming, was difficult to find via GPS but was convenient and within walking distance of many restaurants and activities. The dining experience, while offering freshly prepared dishes brought promptly to the room, was well below our expectations and a bit expensive. The facilities overall seemed modern and comfortable.
My stay at the hotel was simply amazing. The rooms offered a beautiful view, with a king bed that was exceptionally comfortable. They were very clean and well-appointed. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist. The location was convenient to explore downtown Des Moines, and the dining experience, while generally good, had some room for improvement. Overall, a wonderful experience with great value for money.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was convenient, with many nearby restaurants and activities within walking distance. The rooms, while clean and comfortable, felt a bit simple for my taste. The service was friendly and helpful, but there were certain limitations in decision-making. The dining options had some drawbacks, including confusion with payments, but the grilled salmon was delightful.
