Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the hotel was a unique experience. The rooms were a great place for community building and connecting, furnished in a charming late 19th-century style. The service was very nice, with excellent tasting scones and coffee offered in the seating area among the rooms. The unlocked location for guests allowed for wonderful evening strolls after dinner, adding to the overall charm of the stay. The superb dining experience, which kept us going all day, was a standout feature but lacked a variety in the breakfast options.
This historic hotel really surprised me in a good way! The rooms were beautifully renovated with a touch of history while still feeling fresh and modern. The service was exceptional, although it could use a slight improvement. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas like the Great Sand Dunes National Park. The dining experience was superb, keeping me fueled for the day. Overall, a great stay with a few minor areas for enhancement.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and lovely, featuring a comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. It was a treat to be staying in a historic hotel and dining room, where I could enjoy delicious tea and coffee both in the morning and in the evening.
