Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I booked wasn't ready until late in the afternoon, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the rooms were spacious and had two queen beds, though the cleanliness wasn't perfect. The service was friendly overall, but the explanation about slow towel delivery was a bit odd. The location was beautiful and great for families with young kids. However, the hotel's policy of giving the worst rooms to Hotwire bookings is something to be careful about. Dining options were subpar, especially at 7Mile, but the hotel facilities were good for the kids to unwind and enjoy some pool time. The price was reasonable, but the checkout time cut-off at 2pm was a downer.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, though feeling more like a 2.5-star roadside hotel, were surprisingly spacious and comfortable with all the expected amenities. The service throughout the property was outstanding, from the valet to housekeeping, making our experience truly enjoyable. The location was the highlight of our stay, especially for families. However, the dining experience was a bit underwhelming, and the facilities could use some improvements.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The location was superb, just a stone's throw away from LEGOLAND and with helpful staff. The rooms were spacious and perfect for families, but I had a small hiccup with the late readiness. The dining experience left a bit to be desired, especially breakfast, but the amenities and proximity to attractions were unbeatable.
I was personally requested by the management to check in at 9:30 am, which seemed odd but at least appreciated the effort. However, I believe that parking should have been free given that I had to park my own car. If you're looking for a place where you can park your car yourself, you might find better value elsewhere and use the money saved for other enjoyable things, rather than dealing with the hotel's inefficiency and untruthful behavior. Car hire, dry cleaning, and shuttle services took a lot of time to be provided, and the promises made were often not fulfilled.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, perfect for families and very convenient. However, there were significant issues with the room reservation and front desk service. The dining experience was hit or miss, but the facilities were satisfactory.
I found the hotel to have a classic feel but very clean, making it a perfect choice for families with private access to Legoland. On the downside, there were reported bugs in the room that I brought to the attention of the management and maintenance person Jimmy.
