The hotel was ideally located right beside the pool and the ocean, which was very convenient for us as we didn't have to keep going back and forth from the main pool and ocean. The room was a bit far, about 2.5-3 kilometers from the lobby, not exactly grand, and had a sink in the bathroom.
I was moved up to a closer location towards the beach, but the room looked aged and definitely needed some fresh paint and recovery works. It gave off a cheap hotel vibe. The service was not up to par with multiple mishaps like bringing the wrong drink and inappropriate song choices. The location was beautiful and well-kept, although there were some issues with cleanliness and staff availability. The dining experience left much to be desired with repetitive and sometimes stale food. However, the hotel was right by the beach and had early access to entertaining nightlife if you like.
The hotel rooms definitely need some freshening up, and the strong fumes from painting were overwhelming at times. However, the staff deserves praise for their hard work and dedication to making our vacation memorable. The location is beautiful and well-kept, but there were some issues with service, like a shortage of poolside servers. The dining options were adequate but could use more variety.
The resort was huge, and although the beach was overcrowded, I found my room to be tired-looking initially as it wasn't ready when I arrived at 2:45.
