Fortune Grand Hotel, Dubai

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was extra cool and perfect for me, and we were able to check in at our preferred time. The service was top-notch, especially Maria and Morcos who were very helpful. The location, although surrounded by East Asian workers, was good for food and shopping. The dining options, although not included in the price, were nice with a variety of food available. Overall, a great experience with just a few minor cons.

The hotel has a good location near various amenities but is not ideal for families. The rooms are mostly fine but can have a smelly plumbing issue occasionally. The service is warm and welcoming, but there are limitations with check-in and check-out times. The dining options are diverse, leaning towards Middle Eastern cuisine. The facilities are satisfactory, with some nuances regarding family friendliness.

The hotel is located in the center of Daira Dubai, making it convenient for those between flights at DXB. While the rooms were decent, they had thin walls and a hint of smoke and curry smell. The service was lacking in cooperation, but the staff were helpful and polite. The dining options were mostly Indian style and crowded, with limited variety. The location had its ups and downs, being close to old Dubai with shops around but posing challenges for parking.

The hotel rooms were withheld until 2 pm the following morning until my son arrived with his passport, and there was some disturbance from the nearby club's music, affecting the peace. Be aware of potential noise issues. Despite facing a mosque where I couldn't stay, the accommodations were quite decent overall, considering the circumstances.
