Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was like having the state fair relocated into my bedroom - clean, comfortable rooms amidst ongoing housing tract construction. The staff, from the spa treatments to assistance with wedding services, was fabulous and very courteous. However, the location, although on the lakes, felt unfit for guests due to serious construction and excessive activity charges. Dining options were average, with mass-produced food. The facilities were decent.
The one-bedroom cabin I stayed in had a beautiful view of the grounds and lake, but it was a disappointment. The service was top-notch with accommodating staff who went above and beyond to assist. The location, though in a cabin in the woods, offered all the desired amenities. The dining experience was excellent with a wide variety of options. The facilities were modern and well-maintained.
I must say, my stay at Fairway Pines was quite an experience! The 4-bedroom unit was perfect for our family, especially on those rainy nights. We loved the fireplace, refrigerator, and microwave in the room, making our stay very convenient. However, I did find the price for some activities a bit excessive, like the $25 fee for paddle boarding, which could have been included in the stay. Despite that, the beauty of the surroundings and the fun activities offered made it a memorable trip.
The hotel offers stunning rooms with thoughtful amenities like fireplaces, refrigerators, and microwaves. The on-site steam room and sauna complement the luxurious vibe. Service at the Grand Outfitters is welcoming and warm, though it might depend on the bartender's mood. The location is picturesque with beautiful surroundings and free bike rentals for guests, making it a great base for exploring Nisswa and Brainerd. Dining at the North Pub is a delight, offering sumptuous and varied dishes. The facilities are superb, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The hotel has beautiful surroundings with nature vibes, but the housing tract construction may disrupt the serenity for some. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The location offers free bike rentals for exploring but beware of potential high activity fees. Dining options are decent, though not exceptional. The facilities are adequate but could use some improvement.
Staying in the Clubhouse Suite felt like having a state fair relocated into my bedroom; the rooms were just gorgeous and thoughtfully designed. The service was beyond friendly, making me feel welcomed from the spa to the lake. The location was picturesque, although still under construction in some areas. The dining experience in the Heritage Room was somewhat mass-produced, but the salads were delicious.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a great addition, clean and with their own bathroom, contributing positively to the overall stay. Yet, the surroundings lacked the desired ambiance one would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn on the road.
The hotel's rooms were a bit disappointing, as they already looked unsanitary even though they were new. I suggest getting a second-floor room to avoid noise issues from the carpeted floors on the first floor. The service, on the other hand, was outstanding and very friendly. The location in Nissewa, MN, was quite special and made for a memorable stay. The dining experience was awesome but might require reservations, and the facilities were decent.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and relaxing, with two king beds and a fireplace, making it incredibly cozy. The service was top-notch, and the staff was well-trained and accommodating. The location was beautiful, right on the lake, and the free bike rentals added to the exploration fun. The dining experience was a bit mixed, with the food being nice but with some room for improvement. The facilities were great overall, enhancing my stay.
